Who Qualifies to receive a Figmentation®?
A A child who is:
Between the ages of 5 and 15
Has experienced a traumatic experience that posed a threat to the child’s life such as critical illness, severe injury or an endangering event
Has the minimum cognitive ability of a 5 year old
Has the ability to communicate their hero’s tale to our team
Is medically able to participate
Lives in or near Washington County, Utah
WHO QUALIFIES TO REFER A CHILD
The privacy of the children and families we serve is a priority to us therefore, children who may be eligible to receive a Figmentation® Experience can only be referred by parents or a legal guardian.
What to Expect
Once your application has been accepted a member of our team will contact you with a short list of questions that will help us get to know your child.
Then we set up an interview with your child to discover their hero's tale complete with a custom costume design.
We will take it from there, by writing a screenplay, designing sets and props, and constructing the Costume. (This part can take a few weeks)
Next we schedule filming days where your child gets to act out their story with the cameras rolling.
The movie goes into post production and we add all the fun bits like CGI and sound effects. (This part takes a few more weeks)
Lastly we schedule a movie premiere where your child is given the star treatment and their community is invited out to see the hero the child sees in themselves. They will be gifted their movie, costume, and some memorabilia from the experience.
